Last Lap

#PearlHOUSE #RespinsibilityLeadership #LastLAP

Welcome to the last week of the month of July… I thought of asking the question, what did you do with the past days, weeks and months of 2015 but changed my mind because we may end up analysing problems instead of forging ahead with crafting strategies to take the rest of 2015…

In the story of the woman at the well in John 4:7-15, we find four Unique features in these scriptures. The first being – Jesus, the Woman, the Well and the subject of discussion being Water… It may interest you to know that these features points us to dynamics necessary for locating viable business opportunities around us.

Nobody was created to hang around doing nothing. We are creatures of production by default. Genesis 1:28 tells us without an apology that we were Blessed by God and Crafted with the same possibilities like Him. This blessing endowed you and me with grace to produce astonishing results through which we add value wherever we find ourselves.

Jesus represents the door way into manifesting our possibilities. The bible said He sat on the well and demand water from the woman who represents you and me. God could not have asked for water from this woman if she wasn’t programmed with water within. Jesus sitting on the well signifies the fact that we can only draw water through Him… Remember, without Him we can do nothing… John 15:5. So if one without Christ succeeds, don’t forget our work will be tested and I guarantee it will burn like wood.

So this Monday morning, declare and act out the reality of the word… You can only do all things “Through Christ” who strengthens you… Phil 3:19. You are blessed in Jesus name.

See you tomorrow:

Just as taking responsibility is a choice, responding positively to a situation or responding to produce positive impact is also a matter of choice. Having a choice to be negative but choosing to react positively always leads in the long and short term to much more than our desired success and progress.

The questions I know that may be on your mind could be how do I respond to set-backs, failure, poverty, anger, retrogression and advancement? What about the state of your nation its policies and even natural occurrences?

My candid answer to that will be Responsibility is RISK. How do I mean? Every problem is an opportunity in disguise. The problem with missing out in such a life transforming deal will be the way we see the problem.

Responsibility is said to be a fusion of two words Response and Ability. In other words my informed or deformed ability to respond correctly to an issue holds my benefits.

Seeing that I can turn my lemons to lemonade helps me turn my scarcity to a business, my fights to a seminar, my stagnation to a stepping stone.

Always remember the words of Les Brown, “If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams.

How far you desire to succeed in life is determined by how far you are ready to take responsibility of your life by accepting the price paid for you at calvary.

Taking RESPONSIBILITY activates the “take-action-mentality” as against the “wait-and-see” thinking of luck or good and bad fortune. Taking RESPONSIBILITY effectively has also been about the turning from being served to serving others, your immediate community, generation and God.

Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it’s only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential. Barack Obama

What is responsibility?
“… Risk your life and get more than you ever dreamed of. Play it safe and end up holding the bag. 2 [Luke 19:26 Message]

responsibilityResponsibility is from the root – Responsible and consist of two words “Response” and “Ability”. To be Responsible is to be held accountable for the taking of certain steps and the manifestation of certain remarkable results or outcomes.

Having the joy or doing something, taking care of something or somebody to the extent that when that thing isn’t done we are willing to take the blame.

It is about the using of the power of choice at your disposal to advance, do good and even doing great and bringing change

It is about not giving excuses for not doing what is in your limit can do.

So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin. [James 4:17-5:1 AMP]

It is about your ability to respond positively and rightly when confronted with a situation.

It is about turning away from the blame game and finger pointing at others as the origin of your problem and taking action [risk] in the direction of a desired future.

It is about the taking control of your attitude, thoughts and emotions. Be focused and step onto the highway to your dreams.

It is about initiating the change you want. Be proactive, break free from your present mind-set and go for your goals – the state of life you find yourself is not the best, step out and step into your dream.

It is about the willingness to help yourself; solving your own problems and obedience to the principles of God – only then will we eat the good of the land.

Responsibility is RISK.
